Free home weatherization assistance available, applications to be taken Tuesday

Applications for Free Home Weatherization Assistance Program will be taken from 2 – 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Main Street Community
Center, 708 Main Street in Pineville.

The Pineville Concerned Citizens, Inc. will host the program of the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency.

The program covers qualified homes, mobile homes and renters. Those applying must bring landlord contact information.

To apply, bring a copy of a photo ID, Social Security card, any income award letters (VA, Social Security, etc.) and 4 current payroll check stubs if working, last year income tax if self employed, TANF or other income record tips and the last years Cleco printout for electricity services.

Pineville group to discuss new mobile home parks and zoning

The Pineville Concerned Citizens Inc. will host its monthly neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, at Kees Park Community Center on Highway 28 East in Pineville

The Pineville Concerned Citizens  Inc. will  host a public  meeting with District 26  Rep. Herbert Dixon concerning the upcoming Legislative Session and proposed budget cuts for 2010.
