Mother, daughter and third woman arrested for Circle K armed robbery

Three Alexandria women, including a mother and daughter, were arrested each on a charge of armed robbery in connection with a robbery at Circle K, 5909 Skye St., where one of the women worked, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested  on warrants are Alice McClinton, 42, 3002 Bear Trace; her daughter, Pandora McClinton, 21, 3002 Bear Trace; and Peggy Lemons, 37, 2500 Greenwood Dr. The McClintons were arrested on May 7, and Lemons was arrested on May 8.

The armed robbery occurred  on Saturday, April 24. The arrests were the result of an investigation in which detectives suspect that Alice “Nikki” McClinton, robbed the store where her daughter, Pandora worked as a cashier.

Detectives would not release information about the time of the arrests or the weapon used in the robbery.

Extradition proceeds are pending from Texas for Peggy Lemon.  The three remain in the Rapides Parish Jail, with bond set at $75,000 each.
