Alexandria man arrested for theft, identity theft

Brian Jackson, 32, 802 Lafitte Dr., Alexandria, is accused of using customers’ personal information to create nine loans for $300 each, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Jackson was booked into the Rapides Parish Jail on a charge of theft $500 and up and 10 counts of identity theft.

The theft occurred at Cash Express, 4609 Jackson St., where Jackson worked. He allegedly admitted to the using the customers’ personal information to create the loans. The victims are from Alexandria, Echo, Pollock and Sieper.
