Adam Laborde, 19, Mansura, and Dalton J. Laborde, 17, of Marksville, and Dalton Brevelle, 18, Centerpoint, were each arrested on burglary charges in connection with a string of burglaries along Lake Long Road, according to the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The burglaries occurred on March 1 when the Labordes allegedly traveled to Lake Long Road to meet Brevelle. The men are accused of burglarizing the hunting camps and stealing alcohol, firearms and assorted hunting-related equipment, said Sheriff Doug Anderson.
Anderson also said the suspects confessed to the burglaries.
The Labordes were charged with one count of simple burglary relating to a February burglary of Don Dupuy Grocery in the Brouillette Community. The two allegedly forced entry into the business through a back door and stole beer, cigarettes and liquor.
Regarding the hunting camp burglaries, the Labordes were each charged with five counts of aggravated burglary. Brevelle was charged with five counts of aggravated burglary. The three were booked into the Avoyelles S.O. Detention Center #1.
