Cagron Demon Clovis, 30, 1818 Bush Ave., Alexandria, was booked into the Rapides Parish Jail on a charge of unauthorized entry of a business and a City Court contempt of court warrant, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

The arrest occurred Monday morning after a police officer saw a suspect allegedly entering a building located at 710 Bolton Ave., Alexandria, through a broken window.

The officer commanded the suspect, later identified as Clovis, to come out of the business or he would release the K-9 to come after him. Clovis complied and came out of the business.

When asked what he was doing by going into the business, Clovis allegedly told the officer he was waiting on the city bus. He didn’t work at the business.

Clovis allegedly told the officer about the warrant.
